Are the 3 children with them in 1901 from his first marriage?

EDIT

Just checked GRO and all have mmn Baldwin?  Have I got the wrong 1901 entry?
Think you may have done their surnames would have been Crabb .There mother Elizabeth Crabb was named in the divorce.

That doesn’t mean that Crabb was her maiden name, though?

1911 Elizabeth is listed as a widow and states she had been married for 24 yrs

Is this Elizabeth living in Essex and born in Deptford?
She was born in Southwark and in the 1911 census she was living in Walthamstow

Both spouses alleged adultery as against the other.  Fred Dean and Elizabeth Crabb were the respective third parties named.

Is Elizabeth on the 1911 the one with twins Julia and Elizabeth?

If so, it looks as though they were registered under the name of Crabb, with mother’s maiden name Burns.

Elizabeth Burns married George Crabb in 1880.

By 1891 George (b1860 - a fish salesman) is living with a different wife and children.

I wonder if William and Elizabeth didn’t marry as she was still married to George

Yes - you’re right! I didn’t notice that.   She also has 1867 on the 1881 census (under the name of Lizzie).  But on the marriage certificate she had full age.
