Hi Marie,

Not sure if any of this is connected but here goes.
I am also looking for my Grandfather Francis Patrick McGarry.
1902/1903 - 17th March, Irvine St, Shankill, Antrim.
(listed on his service records)
1920 - Dundalk Prison Record
name is McGorry Father James 22 Cinnamon St
1921-1933 - Irish Fusiliers.
McGarry father James again 22 Cinnamon St
1923 - marriage: Dover 1923
(father listed as James - Engine driver Cotton factory)
1958 - Death: Dover 1958.
Throughout records he is listed as Carter, Labourer, Ship Builder
Only other thing I know is he had a brother called Willie amoung others
I found this attachment but wont let me order without mothers maiden name.
I am based in New Zealand.
Murray - Fife, McGarry - Dover, Beer - Dover - Higginson - Shropshire
Cook - Fife, Brown - Fife & Galloway - Fife

Including Francis there are 8 McGarry births in Belfast with mother's maiden name Lappin.
Use the More Search Options and put in just McGarry and Lappin in the appropriate places.

You will also be able to find the parents marriage cert in 1902.

If you do as suggested you will see that in 1903 the address is Irvin/Irwin Street and in 1915 the address is 22 Cinnamon(d) Street and father James is an engine driver.
