In 1931 the Electoral Rolls show that Jane Stewart KYLE had moved from QLD to Vic.

She has the same address as son John B KYLE gives in his AIF record when requesting all his "entitlements" from the Army and sorting out his army history and identity.

many thanks to all who have helped so far, lot's of info to go on. Our man seems to have left quite a trail behind him one way or another. Still couple of questions:

Has a death date been found, poss 1953 looking at jamjar's notes.
Did he ever marry Marion Hilda Mitchell, again jamjar find.

Shall be continuing research here in Glasgow next week to uncover more about this guy.
