Hi
Yes all the info you have found appears to be correct. I worked out my supposed trail of events from my Bedfordshire Surnames CD and the entries on FindMyPast and FamilySearch.
The full story is a bit more involved than that as this Dinah appears to be a very married lady and as the story has so many steps to it I thought it best to try and get as much confirmation as possible.
The first step was to find on the CD that a Dinah Chandler, a spinster resident in Eynesbury, married in 1816 in Eaton Socon. FindMyPast confirmed that she had married a William Lee. The CD said that he was a bachelor when they married. Dinah appears to have had only one child with him, William in 1817 and then William the husband appears to die between 1817 and 1828 as the next entry found on CD is that Dinah Lee, widow married in 1828 in Eaton Socon. (the 1823 burial is a man born 1810!)
FindMyPast confirmed that she married Robert Elliott, which also confirmed Alfred’s baptism in 1845, (CD said he was a bachelor), and I then found on Family Search that she had at least 4 children by Robert, of which the youngest was Alfred. Again no evidence of death for the husband on my CD but I already knew from researching Alfred’s birth that Thomas Johnson had married Dinah Elliott in 1843 in St Neots. Presumably this was in a local register office as I cannot find a church marriage.
As you can see there are a few holes and it would make the story much more complete if the baptism was found.
I did see somewhere that someone had done an index for the parish, but I can't remember who, perhaps someone knows of it please?
