Cause of death = "Died" | Death entry in the Marine Register

I thought that I would share this one as an example of a certificate I was looking forward to but definitely failed to tell me anything else about the case of death!
Berkshire: Clarke, Croxford, Eustace
Bilston, Staffordshire: Dean
Devon: Blackmore, Matthews
Gwyddelwern, Betws GG, Denbighshire: Davies, Evans
Glamorgan: Dean, Matthews
Hull: Grant, Nicholson, Patterson, White
Newcastle: Patterson
Shafton, Yorkshire: Miles, Moulson,
Wiltshire: Emery

Obviously filled out by someone of very few words....
Threlfall (Southport), Isherwood (lancs & Canada), Newbould + Topliss(Derby), Keating & Cummins (Ireland + lancs), Fisher, Strong& Casson (all Cumberland) & Downie & Bowie, Linlithgow area Scotland . Also interested in Leigh& Burrows,(Lancashire) Griffiths (Shropshire & lancs), Leaver (Lancs/Yorks) & Anderson(Cumberland and very elusive)

Oh, dear  :-X  Not a lot one can say, other than you now know which ship he was on  :)
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

I already had the information from a couple of different sources but hoped that the certificate would tell me a little bit more.  It is just an exact copy of the entry in the return of deaths at sea.  I guess I may never know what happened to my 3x Great grandfather on the good ship Milo!

He died at Stettin and the register lists his death in the classification "Diseases of the Heart and great Blood Vessels". He was 68.

Feeling a little bit embarrassed now  ??? as I have had that document for a while now but never noticed the line under the title giving the death classification.  Always learning!!!!
