Queens Head pub Thanet Street Clay Cross Derbyshire in the 1950’s landlady Emma Taylor with husband William Taylor.
Any info about the pub.
Or if Emma Taylor had an Obituary in the local paper she died 9th May 1965

Have already looked the pub is now a restaurant but want to find anything about when it was run as a pub.

Hi was it ( to your knowledge ) always called the Queens Head, as in 1939 at 4, Thanet Street Clay Cross was a William Smith occ Publican with wife and child.
1911 a number of possible original names?

As far as I know it’s was called the Queen’s Head at 113 Thanet Street it is now a Oriental restaurant, the landlady Emma Taylor with husband William
