Indictment – (also called presentment) the formal charge sheet filed with the County or Supreme Court.

I suspect (reading between the lines) that there was some thinking that the victim deserved it.  The victim was my 1st cousin twice removed.

The Coroner committed David John Kelly to take his trial at the Supreme Court at Sale on 23rd July.
