I note your latest post but I'm wondering if we saw the same marriage record at Prestwich, St Mary
15 Dec 1850 which notes Elizabeth father as John, although he was a labourer as noted in 1850,
his occupation likely changed from the earlier records.
I thought you were trying to find the correct Elizabeth as you posted the following.

"Does anyone have any idea how I can substantiate the above Census and Birth Certificate?
If it is correct I'm guessing that  Joseph must be deceased by 1850 but can't find any record of this".

I guess the short answer is Joseph was not the father of Elizabeth.
