William Prowse born around 1740 Bovey Tracey

Hi all. I believe William maybe my 5th Great Grandfather on my mothers side but I hit a brick wall with him.

I have his wedding to Ann Tinkcombe Nov 2nd 1764 in Bovey Tracey.
In 1768 my 4th Great Grandfather Clement Prowse was baptised at Bovey Tracey November 6th, father William.

At William's wedding above a witness was Robert Prowse, who may have been the Robert born to Clement Prowse in 1736. Clement also fathered a Thomas 1730, but I cannot find a William with Clement as a father.

All the records are from Find My past and Family Search. And Ive tried Prouse, Pro?se etc!

Which is a bit of a worry because of Clement below.
