Hi Suelesterry,
                     well Alton is where quite a few  of  my family came from
I was checking on a Samuel Beardmore b 1754 and under his work was  the place Leekshead.
Have done  all the tree for this family  but this place mentioned  never heard of it and wanted to know where it was.
