COOK in Hay or Presteigne
« on: Friday 12 August 05 22:08 BST (UK) »
I would love to hear from anyone at all who has any relations/ancestors named COOK or COOKE hailing from HAY in Breconshire or Presteigne in Radnorshire during 1800's/1700's (anytime) or indeed are called these names still living there or there abouts.

Many thanks

There are still COOKs in Hay.

In the 1970s  there was a tv specialist of that name, who had an early form of satellite tv.  He strung a cable across the Wye and for a subscription you could have better quality reception.  ;D

There must be an entrepreneur gene!
