Nice work.

Oh my goodness yes! I asked a few friends about them and they said her hands looked fine (??), glad I'm not the only one who thinks so haha, I was also confused by her seeming lack of a pinkie finger... maybe it's just the angle, I'm not too sure.

Edit: Actually on second thoughts, I believe her pinkie finger is actually tucked behind to support her ring. Perhaps it is the fact that the cuff on her engageantes  stops just before the wrist (rather then at the wrist) creates the illusion that her hand is an inch longer.

I have had some wonderful restorations of family photos from Rootschat experts. Again I thank you all.

Never asked for one to be coloured before. Could anyone have a go at the lady who is my avatar? My great grandmother Mary Malcolm.

I will start a new topic and download the photo.

Thanks again

Just so that you know Russell, we are advised not to post or manipulate photos taken from the internet without the owner's permission as it contravenes Rootschat rules.

Fair enough :) The George Bennett photo I purchased from the Hertfordshire archives, so have permission to use it so long as I'm not making money of it (I guess), along side him being an indirect ancestor.

The lady in the blue dress is a CDV I own, with only the girl in the green dress being taken from the internet from a public source (I would never just take a photo uploaded directly by the descendant without asking, but in this case obtaining permission is near enough impossible)...

Thanks Ruskie for the link!

It wasn't meant as a criticism Russell, just a bit of friendly advice as you are new.
