Burial / Cremation whereabouts
« on: Tuesday 08 January 19 21:18 GMT (UK) »
I have been trying to find a burial or cremation for 5 years or more now and have just hit a brick wall. Hannah Horton died a widow age 60 on 24 April 1917 at her home 47 Lauriston Rd, Hackney. I have been trying to find a record of where she was buried or cremated but have had no luck. If anyone is able to find out I would be grateful.
Thank you

Do you know when her husband died?  If you can find him there is a chance Hannah was buried in the same place.

Yes her husband William Horton died at home 11 Lark Row, Bethnal Green on 24 SEPTEMBER 1898. To be honest I haven't been able to find his either. There seems to be plenty of William Hortons too.
