Thanks both, is my best course to find out if the children had children to find out if they remember any snippets of info?
Thanks oranges

You don't know how many children Ann had.....the ones on Census are single.

Perhaps OP meant tracing the children of Arthur & Anne?

Hi, I don't know how many children Edward and Anne had,

But I know Arthur and Ann O'Donnell moved to Glasgow around 1873/4 and they eventually had 7/8 ann O'Donnell ( nee Slevin) died in 1922 but I can't trace death of Arthur although family think he died between 1895-1905 my grandmother was one of their children.

With regards Edward and Anne were only asumming they had more than one child and the same with John O'Donnell

Sorry I didn't mean you were asumming I meant my family, I had a quick look at the links but where I live in deepest Devon we're served by wireless and I lost signal so I'm going to try later and hopefully it will fill in a couple of gaps.
Thanks oranges

Looking at links Anne Slevin from ardnagasson does seem very likely, taking into account district and age, what would be my next move to find out,any suggestions?

Thanks very much

In reply #25 this morning I posted a link to 1901 census. Notice John Slevin is head of household and a niece Mary McGuire (not McQuire as mistranscribed) is also listed. Since John wasn't married then it's quite likely that Mary's mother would have been John's sister. You can use the Irish Genealogy site to look for her birth registration, etc.
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/reels/nai000651333/

For reference, this Edward Slavin is not Ann's husband since son Michael is in 1901 census with mother Mary-

Looks like this Edward married a Mary McGee-https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1873/03173/2163723.pdf

Thank you both very much, it's possible this is the family, fingers crossed, hopefully one of the daughters got married and had children , otherwise all traces would be lost, I'm also trying to find John O'Donnell family but that's proving more difficult

Thanks
