That’s terrific! I’ve contacted Newark town council regarding the Millers and their burials. Got lots of new dates now.

Annie Hoyland was Annie Jackson b 1879 Coventry (of course) -- married Frederick Kirton in 1899, (mistranscribed as Kerkow in the 1901 census) and then remarried William Hoyland in 1910.

However, also on the 1891 census there is this:
at 20, Cherry Holt, Newark:
Caroline Fenton age 40, widow
Henry Fenton (son) age 17
Robert Fenton (son) age 8
Charles Fenton (son) age 14
Eliza Fenton (daug) age 3
Jane Cartwright, sister, age 38, married, visiting
Emma Jackson (neice) age 20
----all above born in Newark.

--from a post on p 3 --- I wonder if Emma Jackson was the same person as Emily Bonner.

That would make sense actually. Quite possibly.

Can anyone see where Henry and Elizabeth Miller are in 1851? The births for their first couple of children weren’t registered but I think they would’ve been in Sleaford, Lincolnshire around that time.
