There are a few mid 18th century Isbells in Bocking too. I've been searching for Henry Isbell's baptism and marriage for ages to no avail. He died in Upminster, where most of my Isbells came from, in 1846, aged 85, which would put his year of birth around 1761. I also found a Henry Isbell who died in South Weald in 1825, aged 95 (!), which would put his year of birth at about 1730.
