Hi
His grave is on the Commonwealth War grave site
Rosario Protestant Cemetery
Lieut Cdr Robert Ivor Randel Jones RN
died 23 July 1946 age 47 s of John Randall and Rachel Jones
Husband of Beatrice Randall Jones of Bridgwater Somerset
Sect D Div 5 Row 1 Grave 20.

It's also on Find a Grave website with a picture of the grave and of him in uniform

www.findagrave.com/memorial/12775553

His Will was proven in London 1947  gives his address as Avenue Wheelwright Rosairio Santa Fe Argentina

His Admittance to the Royal Navy record is at the National Archives at Kew 3.50.
He also served in WW1 and got medals ,again at the Archives at Kew.
In 1920 it seems  he was in Archangel on the transport ships. There is a medal on Ancestry for that with a very touching description of his bravery  in the company of Percy Melcross,Patrick Smith and John Charlton.

On the 1911 census in England  so he must have left after WW1.

Shipping records

6 May 1925 Robert Jones Argentina to New York  on the Vandyck as a officer may be him.

Arrival in London from Argentina 2 Nov 1934 on the Sultan Star as Robert I R Jones must be him.
He left again 8.3.1935 on the Avelona Star.He was described as a civil engineer age 36.He was going to St Peter's Vicarage Hale.

An immigration card for his daughter in 1960 to Brazil gives his wife as Beatrice Maud Kidd and a daughter born 1937.
I can't give her name as she may still be alive. It has a photo and is available on Ancestry.
