I also recommend a visit to the Bon Accord! Though we went to the Koh-I-Noor a bit further up for our meal. It was nae bad.

They used to do a first class fish and chips in the old cafe in the hole-an-corner in the Mitchell itself. I was fair disappointed when they did away with that and opened a shiny new trendy cafeteria.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
