Nock - where is it?

I've been looking at the parish registers for Ballinakill, Co. Galway.

A couple of entries on the page have Nock written after them and one Nockbawn. I presume this is where they lived.

Is Nock the same place as Nockbawn?  Where is it?

Hmm, seems a long way from Ballinakill.

I'm not sure Knock is the same place.

Nock, Nockbawn and Nock Bawn are mentioned here

I think the place names must have changed over time.

I can see a Knockaun and a Knockaunbaun.
