Yes they were all baptised at St Marnarck's  Lanreath.

Looked up the link you sent Osprey, to no avail. No baptism of Hercules.

I have emailed them to ask for their help, because they are moving premises it could be more than 5 days.

Also emailed the St Winnow page contact link on OPC.

     Regards Suzanne

Hiya,
I can tell you now that St Winnow records start at about 1616.

I have been helping to transcribe them.

the link I gave you for the record office was for wills or deeds that may mention the family. You won't find baptisms that way. And as fizzybubble says, the records from that period don't exist for St Winnow so using other documents is your best option.

Also some of the St Winnow wills were proved in Exeter and were lost to fire during the war.

A BIG thank you to you both, so very much appreciated.

Osprey, I did look for wills first.   Found Hercules Lower's will, which although was a bonus did not fulfil the brief.  Also a George Lower's will but an inconsistency in death dates.

So for now until the day the baptisms are fully transcribed will terminate this branch of the tree at Hercules and return at a future date.

        Regards
     Suzanne

But do bear in mind you may never find out as in some parishes registers just did not start that early.
