Hi Bryan

The 1841 census isn't indexed and you've specified a rather big area to trawl through  ;D  Could you narrow it down at all to specific people and/or places?

Regards

Angela

Especially looking for - Sealey, Rogers, Cannings, Box, Sheppard in Wiltshire; Virgin, Slade, Abbott, Saint, Harper, Silverthorn in Somerset; and Virgin, Tarr, Beer in Devon

And most especially the origins of William Cannings,  a Baptist, born abt 1791 in Broughton Gifford, Wiltshire

Thank for your replies AngelaR & Kris.
Sorry I was not a bit more specific, but I am trying to sort out all the Jenkins family groups in the Town of Yatton.
I have extracted all the families in the Census from 1851-1891 & would like to see if I could place them in 1841.
Our Jenkins family were in the Yatton area from the early 1700's & their were 6 children from this marriage. (5 boys)
So far we have traced 2 lines through but are having trouble withe the others. We believe they also may have been in Nailsea up to 1800.
The 2 lines we have are for:
Richard b 1805 & Jane b 1803 & family
Richard b 1774 & Priscilla  b 1793 & family
This should account for at least 10 of the 20 Jenkins listed.
I am sorry if I am asking for a bit much but any help would be gratefully appreciated as I have no acces to the records.

Thank You
Bryan
