Leases. Marriage licences. Apprenticeship indentures. Newspapers; notices of businesses, adverts, property for sale, rent, lease. Quarter-session petitions in case he'd fallen out with his neighbours or not contributed his share to road upkeep &c.

Never knew about some of the things you suggest.
Would that information be found at the local library?
I found the jurors lists at Central Library Manchester.
I have tried newspapers with no results.
How would I find leased? Where would I find Quarter session petitions please?
