Hi

I am after a photo or info on James Gibb
Marriage to Isabella Adamson on 27 November 1840
Auchtertool, Fife, Scotland

 I have found little info on this couple, due to the fact that many researchers are confusing the name of James' wife. It is definitely Isabella.

In 1841 the couple are in Dunfermline.
In 1851 they are in Beath, Fife:
James  38  Ag. Lab  b. Dunfermline
Isabella   30  b.  Dunfermline
Mary  6
Andrew  3
Ann  9m
All children born in Beath.

At the moment I can't see any baptism which fits.

No clear birth for James and I’m guessing that this may be Isabella senior, but there are others in the Kingdom.

Isabella is on the 1895 Valuation Roll but not the 1905. Also on the 1901 census in Beath but nowhere 1911.

Only death in the area but wrong age unless the record is wrong?

I know it's not a hard and fast rule, but looking at the children's names, you would expect his parents to be Andrew and Ann and hers David and Mary.  So I'm wondering if there was another child born before Mary.  Or maybe two, seeing as that there are 3 or 4 years between the marriage and Mary's birth.
