there is a death record in the Westminster Presbyterian Church register giving 31 August 1958 as the date of death of George B Vipond.
I found an obituary in the Scranton Tribune from 2 Sep. 1958 that says George Barreman Vipond died unexpectedly at the home of his daughter Mrs. Maude Nyhart in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
