Beckley, near Rye - help needed with an address, please.

In a probate record I have found the following:

...... of The Duke Main St Beckley nr Rye Sx ......

Can anyone help me identify this ? It sounds like a pub/inn/hotel but I may be totally wrong .... it has been known !

1968 so not too long ago ...

Land registry web site has

Flat 2, Duka, Main Street, Beckley, Rye, TN31 6RR 

Sold in 1996 for £36,000

Also it is Duka, not Duke

I always thought probate records were accurate. Well, I learn something new every day !
