I think in the Iliad they were part of Achilles' party at the Trojan War?? Thank you again for your help, this ancestor fought in the Crimea in the Royal Marines so knowing the names of the ships will allow me to research their logs to find out exactly where they were!

Yes. "Silence of the Girls" by Pat Barker, told from the point of view of a young woman captured during the war and given to Achilles was where I recently encountered the name.
