That's great, good find -  I must have missed that one when I looked earlier.

Thank you very much, Sandra, bbart and all for once again terrific research. The only event that seems to be missing is when and where Esther Dorothy nee Jauncey Wilson passed away unless I missed it along the line?

U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims Index -    Esther Dorothy Wilson - Esther Dorothy Jauncey - 18 November 1888 Worcester England - Father John Jauncey - Mother Mary A Wadley.
Aug 1963  Name listed as Esther Dorothy Wilson.

Perhaps investigate this record...................

It doesn't say it is a life claim ( (when a claim was made for disability or retirement benefits)

........but it could be a death claim ((when a claim was made by a surviving family member for death or survivor benefits)   ??? ??? ???

You have living relative information in the obituary for Patricia Strothman, it should be easy to follow up on those and perhaps answer your question that way  ???

Backtracking to the arrival of the "Baltic" in 1919......

The ship left Liverpool 19 Sep 1919 with arrival Halifax 26 Sep 1919.

The Henry T has the same regimental number as Henry Charles so I think the T is an error.

Also on board and listed under military dependents is a Mrs E D Wilson who I suspect would be Esther. I believe Canadian men who married in England generally had their wives on the the same troop ship they were on.

Thank you Sandra, if Esther did pass away in 1963 she'd have been 75 but on the other hand apparently the US death index doesn't show deaths if less than 10 years ago? Strange that one hsn't appeared though. However I'll try to make contact with the Strothman family.
