Whatley lookups

I’m looking for:

A christening for Ambrose Whatley Sr., who married Elizabeth Crofts in Longbridge Deverill in 1723
A christening for Prudence Dex, who married Ambrose Whatley Jr. in Longbridge Deverill in 1748

I’d appreciate any help!

Have you tried Family Search? 

Ambrose's baptism is recorded as 9-11-1726 s/o Ambrose also I think his burial is shown.

I have, but I’m looking for the christening of the senior Ambrose, which does not appear on FamilySearch. Presumably he would’ve been born in at least 1702.

Sorry I mis-read your request.

On Anc..y there several trees showing Ambrose being bapt. about 1700 in Crockerton, Longbridge Dev.. including a marriage to Elizabeth Crofts in 1723 Longbridge.

Some even have copies of original register entries.

Anc..y also have images of the Wilts registers which can be viewed on-line.

Is an exact date given? I see they give his father as George Whatley. He was christening a few children in Longbridge Deverill itself around that time, but I can’t see Ambrose.
