 Thanks everyone. So much extra information from you all. Very interesting about Francis being in Artane. Is it possible that was due to destitution or correctional reasons? I was aware that Mary Doherty married John McNally but he is another mystery. Folklore has it that he left for Dublin at some stage and may be buried somewhere there but so far no success with that either.
