Albert Frederick Thompson L/10547
« on: Sunday 10 March 19 01:43 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,
I have a medal card for Albert, could an expert tell me if the card is my Albert's card.
The L/10547 is from a family document. So that part is correct.
Thank you for reading.

Hi Kenjo,

I'm not an expert but I don't think this is the correct person. I checked the Silver Star Badge Roll on Ancestry, and Albert Thompson was in the East Kent Regiment, and discharged in 1917 due to wounds. He did serve overseas.

I think the medal card you are looking for is this one:

hope that helps,

Gemma

Thank you Gemma,
I have only yesterday seen the L/10547 document. You have found the medal card.
Thank you.
