Reverend John Collett born about 1548 ?

Hello ,has anyone heard of a Reverend John Collett born about 1548 in the Lower Slaughter area , possibly the son of Henry and Edyth Collett ?
Any help would be much appreciated .

Worth having a look at the alumni records for Oxford and for Cambridge, both on Ancestry. Most priests were graduates, and there were only these two universities in England.

Thank you both , I could not seem to find the "alumni records " on Ancestry . I had a look through that Collett site but it does not seem like it is our line . I will keep looking though .

Oxford University Alumni, 1500-1886
and
Cambridge University Alumni, 1261-1900

easiest route to find these is via the Card Catalogue within Search
