Family Tree Maker 2012 - census citations
« on: Friday 15 March 19 07:38 GMT (UK) »
Hello, all.

I have finally taken the plunge, dug out all of my family history info and started entering it to my FTM 2012.

Can someone please advise how to properly cite census information?

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere; I searched, but did not find it.

If you go into your tree you can click on the "Sources" tab.  The next line down will show File, Edit, View, and Sources.  Click on this one.   Then click on "Add Source" and you will be presented with a window where you can select the source template.  One of the choices is Census Records.

Hope that helps.
