He was at 168 Queens Road when he applied for naturalisation in 1940. Jacob Rafilovitch, commonly known as Rafilovitch Jacobs. (Notices in Liverpool Evening Express, 24 May and 4 June 1940).

A lady found a newspaper article about him on find my past and one of the addresses he had was 128. I believe he was a a tailor. It’s the address that is on my dads birth certificate in 1937. Trying to find out why that would be listed as opposed to the address we have for his mother.

Looks like he may well have been at 128 a year earlier but unable to read the number. Also the family name seems to have been changed to Raphael.

Yes I now see him with a change of name to "Jacob Raphael" or "Raphael Jacob " in the 1939 Register
