William Pratt b 1780ish

Hello,

I wondered if someone might be able to help me with William's marriage to Elizabeth please and her maiden name?

I am guessing it happened in Leighton Buzzard +/- a few years either side of 1800 as they have 2 children that I can find born 1800 and 1807.

Birth of Son William Pratt(1800–)
1800 • Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, England

Birth of Daughter Eliza Pratt(1807–1891)
abt 1807 • Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, England

Eliza marries Cornelius Reeves 1829, he dies and she marries Thomas Cosby 1836 as Eliza Reeves (but their children have mothers maiden name Pratt on the GRO).

I am just hypothesising at the moment that William and Elizabeth are the parents as they are the only ones who baptise an Eliza rather than an Elizabeth Pratt in the right time frame. I can't prove William was her father as she married in 1836 so her father is not recorded on any marriage records that I can find!

Thanks so much for taking the time to look this up. This has bolstered my guess that William's father was Edward, Edward is not common in this family and to have a son called Edward might mean that he was named after his grandfather.
