::)

I am looking for Joseph Shellard Could have been born in Oxon/Banbury about 1815/1817.  I need to find his dad (possibly Edward so I can think him to my family).

Much appreciated

Hi There

I can't see Joseph in the Banbury reg dist for the 1851 census - have you found him in any of the other census's? or can you tell us anything else about him?

All the best

Hi ...

I had a little dig around on the OFHS's Marriage Index for you, but without any success.

There are (male) SHELLARD marriages recorded in 1783 (and before) and 1827, but nothing between these two dates.  There is also no Joseph SHELLARD recorded on the index.

Have you tried looking in Northamptonshire - the county boundary is only a short distance north of Banbury?
