Hi
Emanuel Griffith (c1850-1921), brother of my gt grandmother was living at Foel Trefor (formerly known as Foel Wrci) in 1915. With him there was his niece Emanuel Griffith (jnr) born c.1874 and wife Catherine, born c. 1873 Llanfihangel Bachellaeth.
I think Ellen  Roberts who married  Robert Roberts in 1915 might have been Catherine's sister, and that they were daughters of John & Ann Roberts, who were living 1881, 1891 & 1901 Censuses at Cytiau, parish of Llanfihangel Bachellaeth.  In 1881 Census  Ellen was 9 and Catherine 7. John was born Llaniestyn c. 1846 and Ann Aberdaron c.1840.

Jane Hughes' family were at 30 Stanley Street, Holyhead 1881and 1871.

I'll post some more info in the next few days if you think this might be the correct Ellen.

Emyr
