Wolfe
« on: Sunday 07 April 19 05:11 BST (UK) »
Hi. Stumped trying to find a death record for Solomon Wolfe (Wolf, Woolfe) born 30/3/1794 Brinklow Warwickshire, supposedly died 1836 Wolston Warwickshire and wife, Catherine Wolfe nťe Maloney, supposedly died in Walston Warwickshire around 1832. Solomonís father was also Solomon, born 1767 and supposedly died 1839. There is a record for that death but Iím not sure which Solomon it relates to.  No mention of them on 1841 census. One of Solís and Catherineís sons, George, born Wolston 1826, was transported to Tasmania in 1844 and is my ggf x 2. Any help will be, as usual, greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

There is a burial record for a Solomon Wolf age 43 of Brandon.  The date appears to be 1st November and I think the vicar was an R. Lickorish.

The place is Wolston.

There is also a burial record for Catharine Wolf age 39 of Brandon.  Date is 25th January 1832.

Thank you so much. I see Brandon is very close to Walston. Will be having a good look into the info you provided. Thanks again.
