Frank King
« on: Friday 19 April 19 10:11 BST (UK) »
Hi there,
I am trying to research the King family but have got stuck. So far I know that Frank King married Daphne Stratford in 1953 Harrow, Middlesex.
I think he was born in 1928 Guildford, Surrey to Edward King and Daisy Keet. I have managed to research Daisy Keets family thoroughly. She was from a traveller family and i believe that the King family may be travellers too which I guess makes it difficult to trace as they move around a lot.
If anyone can help me get further back in the King family I would really appreciate it.
Vicky

Just to query that Frank has passed away? Otherwise we shouldn't be talking about him  :-X

You may need to get the marriage for his parents to establish the father of Edward.

There's so many possibilities for who Edwards parents could be I don't know where to start

Best to start with the marriage to Daisy.  That's the best way to confirm his father without guessing.
There might be a helpful witness or two on there as well if you're lucky.

In the meantime have you looked for Edward and Daisy on the 1939 register?
That would at least give an accurate date of birth for him.
