Thank you all, yes sorry my bad should have been 1937, I think. He married an Ada in 1925. Yes Metro Police always lived 299 Portman Buildings for years and yes shot at, have the Old Court records quite amazing to have his account of what happened record in Court. Katherine is buried at Kensal Green and did die 1922, then 42 Portman Buildings (My Gran lived there for a few years) but may have moved to Cambridge, I havent been searching for quite some time and now getting back into it and my notes are very, um, scattered and Gran now 93, cant help with info anymore.
