What & where was 'Bower House Fold' Blackburn, 1861
« on: Saturday 27 April 19 08:06 BST (UK) »
Hi there all,

My 2 x Great Grandfather Thomas Munro, born in Preston 1828 was a Cotton Weaver.
On the 1861 Census (at age 33yrs) he lived at 40 Bower House Fold in Blackburn.
I cannot find this address or information on this address anywhere and don't understand where this house/building was at all?

Was this building connected to a Cotton Mill? If yes, what would that Cotton Mill be called?

All and any information greatly appreciated!  :) :) :) Many thanks.

On the 1861 Census (at age 33yrs) he lived at 40 Bower House Fold in Blackburn.

The 1861 Census has 41 Bar House Fold, not 40 Bower House Fold and the 41 is not an address it is the Schedule Number.
