Looking for a grave
« on: Monday 29 April 19 08:58 BST (UK) »
Evelyn May Fisk died 15/12/1950
I am trying to locate the grave site of my grandmother to no avail atm. I was hoping someone may be doing either the Fisk or Tomlinson family tree & would be able to help
Thank you

A local civic authority would be where id suggest starting.
What Country, or locality are we talking here?

Thankyou. I do have her death certificate so I know she died in the Manchester Infermry Hospital but cannot locate where she was buried. I have registered with Manchester Council & searched there but nothing comes up

How about the family notices in a local newspaper?

Could you find from her home address ,fairly local
 Cemeteries?
The Manchester Evening News and The Evening Chronicle have copies in The Central library, on microfiche
There may have been an announcement and details of the funeral.
Not sure where you live or if there is a search service.
Manchester Central Library.
St. Peter’s Square.
Best of luck.
