Northill Baptism Check

Family Search has a baptist record for John Green in Northill,Bedfordshire for 17th August 1767 and his parents are Thomas and Mary.
John Green married Ann Bird in Tadlow on 26th January 1790 and they named their first two children Mary and Thomas so this seems to fit, but the Census for 1841 in Tadlow has his birth year as 1764 and the 1851 Census for Tadlow has his birth year as 1762.
He died in Tadlow on 31st January 1852 at the age of 91 making his year of birth 1761.
If someone has access to the parish registers for Northill could they please check that the correct year has been transcribed in Family Search.

FindMyPast only has the familysearch record. It is worth remembering that some babies were not baptised immediately after birth. Some were baptised some years afterwards. Anything before Civil Registration is not an exact science, as there is no birth certificate to back the information given, therefore it is only as good as the knowledge of the person giving it. There wasn't the same emphasis on age as there is today.

BFHS copy of Northill Parish Register has the following.
Marriage at Northill 5 August 1766 Thomas Green to Mary Taylor.
Baptism 17 August 1767 John son of Thomas & Mary Green (farmer)
