Mary J. Watts

I have a Lionel Gordon Long (died in 1980 in Bristol) in my family tree who married a Mary J. Watts in January 1945. The marriage took place in Midsomer Norton/Radstock area but I cannot find any trace at all of Mary's birth or death.  Lionel's parents were Lionel C. J. (born in Shaftesbury and died in Bristol)  and Frances Marion West-Gaul (born in Farrington Gurney and died in Bristol)   Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

 :) Possibly the reason you cannot locate her death is that she is still alive possibly in Bristol, with someone the same first name as her husband?

It's a possibility that she may well still be alive.

 ??? Can you supply details of the death of Lionel Gordon Long in 1980 Bristol, as the only death in 1980 for a Long is a Lionel Charles J Long, the 1980 death was of Lionel Charles J Long born 2nd February 1899, his father?

Sorry to be so long in replying.  Details I have are as follows -

Lionel Gordon Long - born 25th January 1925, Clutton, Somerset.  Death was 18th August 2008, Bristol.

 :) Odd if you enter the Lionel G into the Electoral Register Bristol he is there 2002 at same address I gave you with a Mary?

Very strange  - I can't seem to make sense of it.
