rootsireland has the mother's name as Marilda (sic) McCormack.

I think the sponsor is Bridget Reddish (Reddich?)

I wonder is the priest confused though, as there is a Laurence Egan (also of Lusmagh) marriage in 1853 to an Anne Bennett.

All the other Egan baptisms in Lusmagh 1849 to 1859 are to Laurence Egan and Anne Bennett.

Thank you, Dublin1850 and Hallmark. Anne is my g grandmother and I have just been unable to get beyond her father Laurence. I had noted a marriage to Anne Bennett but just didn't equate it to the baptism entry I agree perhaps there may have been a confusion. Next step finding the birth entry. Hallmark I have not found other siblings as yet as did not have mothers name.
Regards to both

I see a name and it is not McCormack...

Rather than me posting what I think it is have a look for yourself first, otherwise you'll see the name I or someone else thinks it is  ;D

Looks like Matilda. 3rd letter is like t in 'daughter'.
Yes to Reddish.
