« on: Tuesday 14 May 19 01:16 BST (UK) »
Dear All RootsChat,  i have Jane as being born in 1839 Londonderry to parents David and mother Jane (nee Nesbitt). I cannot find siblings, or further relatives. I know that Jane Dunbar Holloway went to NZ and married Edwin Holloway in NZ. I do not know when Jane went to NZ. I am in Australia, so any tips to search/information is greatly appreciated ;D  ;D

Could this man be a relative

Married in 1898   David Dunbar  MCGUINNESS to Anna Mary  at   Londonderry
Source http://www.Emeraldancestors.com

Obviously not a sibling but maybe a cousin? At a guess?

Here is David Dunbar McGuiness (b circa 1879 in the City of Londonderry) in the 1911 Census with his wife Hannah(Ann(a) M and children. They were all presbytarians

Londonderry Sentinel, 21 Aug.1943: McGUINNESS. It is with sincere regret, which will be shared a wide circle of friends, that we announce the death of Mrs. D. Londonderry Sentinel, 17 Jan.1956: …  McGuiness, of Strabane, and Mrs. Harriet Montgomery, of Philadelphia. The brothers who predeceased him were Mr. David Dunbar McGuinness (who was also a leading personality in the musical life of the city for many years), and Mr. J. C. McGuinness, Toronto …

Derry City Cemetery-
Samuel Thomas McGuinness*, son of Samuel & Jane , 96 Bishop Street, died 11 Nov.1880 aged 5 months
Rebecca Margaret McGinnis*, dau. of Samuel & Jane, 73 Bishop Street, died 24 Ap.1882 age 11

stillborn child of Samuel Joseph McGuinness of Strabane 27 Mar.1913
Samuel Gilliland McGuinness* (parents not listed), 20 Abercorn Road, died 6 Oct.1919

* In same plot is Agnes Beetham, age 72, born Westminster, Riverview Buncrana, died 3 Oct.1887, proprietor Thomas Beetham. The online databases numbers are likely incorrect as there are 2 Beetham burials with slightly different references-
Thomas Beetham, age 60, born England, Riverview Buncrana, died 9 Nov.1875
Anne Beetham, age 80, parents- Thomas and Anne Hays, born Preston Pans Scotland, residence- Middle Road, died 24 May 1868.

Hoping all this will eventually lead back to Jane Dunbar McGuinness.

The Will of Thomas Beetham formerly of 15 Middle-road Londonderry County Londonderry and late of Buncrana County Donegal Supervisor of Inland Revenue deceased who died 9 November 1875 at Buncrana was proved at Londonderry by the oath of Agnes Beetham of Buncrana Widow the sole Executrix. (Deceased died domiciled in Ireland.) Will only mentions wife Agnes.
The Will of Agnes Beetham late of Riverview Buncrana County Donegal Widow who died 3 October 1887 at same place was proved at Londonderry by Joseph Beetham of Riverview Gentleman the sole Executor. Will mentions husband's niece Anne Beetham, husband's nephew Joseph Beetham, Elizabeth wife of James Hyndman.
Perhaps not related to McGuinness family.
