Online tree (needs details verified of course) gives William Charles Prince married first Eliza Sarah Elliott & had- James William (1889), Charles Thomas (1891), Sarah Elizabeth (1892), Thomas George (1894), Albert (1895), Daisy (1897), Dorothy (1898), Cyril Pretoria (1900), Violet (1902), Clara Priscilla (1904), Harold (1905).
However, the tree also says William died 1931!
Says married 1907 Brentford ANNIE HURLEY CONNOR & lists 3 children (Joseph, Kathleen, Charles Albert)- no mention of Rose Margaret or Annie Marion who died young. Annie born 1881 Hammersmith (taken from 1911 census), no date of death or other marriage for her.

Note: another tree says William died 1950 Blackpool & Annie was the mother of all the children (about 9 years old when James William was born)  ::)

Things are not as they seem... and they never were (Joseph Chase Allen). Well, it's complicated as they say nowadays  :-\
This is, so far, unproven with certificates, etc. (but even then they may not contain strictly accurate details).

A William Prince (1901 census- Hanwell) married Eliza and had- William (c1889), Charles (c1890), Lizzie (c1892), Thomas (c1894), Albert (c1896), Dolly (c1898), Cecil (1900).
A William Prince married J/M 1907 (Brentford dist.) to Annie Stacey (FreeBMD)
1911 census (still Hanwell, Middlesex with apparently comes under Bretford dist.). William Prince (39), wife Annie (30, married 2 yrs)- both born Hammersmith- Lizzie (19), Thomas (17), Albert (16), Dorothy (13), Cyril (11), Violet (9), Harold (6).

A William Prince married (J/M 1907 Brentford) Annie Stacey.

Children of _ Prince & _ O'Connor born Brentford dist.: Rose Margaret (1911-1912), Annie Marion (1913-1913), Joseph (1913)- note Annie & Joseph are NOT twins.

A William Prince died 1916 Hammersmith dist. age 36.

An Annie M. Prince married 1919 John Carter. Children? Daisy (1920), John P. (1923)

Yes most definitely the last part - An Annie M. Prince married 1919 John Carter. Children? Daisy (1920), John P. (1923)

What my mother can remember of grandad's siblings were Daisy Carter, Darkey or Darkie Carter, Missey Carter, Todd P or C, Catherine P or C and Jo Prince (possible Joseph Prince?)... John P Carter is my grandfather. Todd migrated to USA or Austraila

John Carter (Jack Carter he was known as) was in Royal Horse Artillery for WWI - this info was from my uncle. That's pretty much all I know for now on this thread.

If that were the right couple there are births for two children

Benjamin - 1899
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1899/02047/1783662.pdf

Mary - 1900
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1900/02003/1770066.pdf

1901 1414/78/14
Wolverton, Buckinghamshire

Jane Tunnicliffe   54 yrs b Norfolk
Annie Stacey sister 23 yrs b Ireland
Benjamin Stacey 2 yrs b Ireland
Mary Stacey 1 yr b Ireland

I think it should read sister in law as Jane was a Stacey before marriage.

It sure though if any of this Stacey information belongs to Annie. :-\

Where were Benjamin and Mary in 1911?

Good possibilities, Heywood. I see that 1900 birth lists William Stacey as 'huntsman' Bombay, India.

Oh it’s difficult  ::)

I am not sure now - here is Anne’s birth - 16th December 1878
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1879/02926/2072194.pdf

This doesn’t fit with later records

That family in 1901
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Roscommon/Castlereagh/Rathleg/1664283/

The marriage certificate is definitely needed for her father’s name.
