I've jsut been having a look around.

The Oxford Dictionary says:
Neck: Origin
Old English hnecca ‘back of the neck’, of Germanic origin; related to Dutch nek ‘neck’ and German Nacken ‘nape’.

says that "nek" was used in Yorkshire, Pembrokeshire, Somerset, Devon & Cornwall.
