David Hyslop death in New Mexico USA
« on: Monday 20 May 19 10:55 BST (UK) »
Can anybody help me find out more about the death of David Hyslop born 8 Jan 1828 in St Quivox Ayr who died 31 Oct 1867 in Fort Wingate, New Mexico, USA. He was a weaver and the son of David Hyslop and Agnes Harvie. His wife Elizabeth Jamieson died 23 Feb 1862 in Ayr., they had one child Andrew Jamieson Hyslop born 12 Jan 1857 in St Quivox Ayr who was reared by David's sister Mary Hyslop and her husband Neil McNinch. I have various census records concerning the above but puzzled about the location of the death in New Mexico.  The information I have on the death was taken from a family bible and passed on to me, the bible is no longer available.  A death record or cause of death would be great to have.
Kind Regards
Tom.
