I am trying to trace Peter McDermott born about 1850 in Mayo, Ireland father most likely Michael (Michaelis)
He possibly had a brother Michael born about 1842/45 also in Mayo.
Any help appreciated. I've tried searching the Catholic Parish Registers (I know he was definitely Catholic), with not much luck, but could be mistranscribed I supposed, if those years even exist.
It is possible that parents are Michael McDermott and Honor Ruane - which would mean Addergoole area, but not 100% positive on that just yet.
