Brazil / Brazill, Eugene-B abt 1810
« on: Friday 24 May 19 21:20 BST (UK) »
Eugene is my 2nd great-grandfather & was married to Hanora Lehan, Lihane, etc abt 1834. They lived in Bosnetstown & their children were born in Bosnetstown & baptised at St Andrews in Kilfinane.
I have been unable to locate a marriage or death for Eugene. Hanora married a Martin Slattery in 1842 after 1 Year of Eugene's death.  Eugene died abt 1839-1841 & no info has been located. My DNA shows I am related to this family
Any help in finding my Hanora & Eugene Owen, would be great.

Have you looked at Parish registers in past 7 years?

Hi,
Thank you for responding. However, my old brain is not quite catching on to your clue. What do you see that I am missing?

There was a lot of stuff posted 7 years ago.... have you researched them since?

A lot of information on other thread and it will save people from looking for/finding information that had already been found on the other thread and R.C Registers have been online quite a while so have you looked at Parish registers in past 7 years?

Saves others looking if you have!

Yes..
I have a tree on Ancestry & have included births, deaths, etc from my copies & have tried looking for spelling mistakes. Hanora's surname changes & I have tried her various spellings to locate information. I have her marriage with Slattery & the certs for the birth of their children.  Just nothing to be found on Eugene but as a sponsor for baptisms, etc.  I even tried using the first name & Owen to search. His "brother" named his next son Eugene in 1841.
From my research, I have found connected Brassill's in Boston, MA. & relations in the Kilmallock area.
Eugene & Hanora "Johanna" are not to be found with the resources I have, before the birth of their children.

Thank you. Those are my distant  family. Martin Slattery married Hanora Brazill as a 2nd husband. Convenient as they were neighbors.

This Search will find Martin and Hanora's Deaths plus Marriages for any of their children after 1864, their Marriages/kids/Deaths etc on

https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp

Change Surname to Brazil to get them!

You have Marriages up to 1943 so recent Death notices etc for elderly ones might berevealing as to Cemeteries etc, even get names of living kin!
